Raegan Baker, a certified nursing assistant and restorative aide employed at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston, was honored at the Blaine House on Oct. 13. She received the Excellence in Long-Term Care Award along with 15 other direct care workers employed in nursing facilities, assisted housing and home care agencies from across Maine. The recipients demonstrated leadership, dedication to providing quality care and the protection of consumer rights. The Maine Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, a consumer advocacy organization, sponsors the annual recognition event. Baker has been employed at d’Youville since 2004.
