CANTON — Victorian Villa Rehabilitation and Living Center, 26 Pleasant St., announces that Lisa Barden, R.N., has successfully completed three days of extensive training through American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators. Upon completion of her training, Barden passed the test that classifies her as a certified resident assessment coordinator.

Barden has spent all of her career working in long-term care, starting in laundry as a teenager. She became a certified nurses’ assistant, obtained her licensed practical nursing license and completed her registered nurse coursework at Kennebec Valley Technical College in 1995. She has been employed at Victorian Villa Rehabilitation and Living Center for the past 15 years. During that time, she has advanced from charge nurse to minimum data set coordinator, a position she has held since 2001.

She lives in Strong and enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandson, her niece and her yellow Lab.
