Chicken pie supper
SUMNER — The Congregational Church of East Sumner, Route 219, will host a community chicken pie supper at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6. Donations will benefit the Pilgrim Lodge Scholarship fund for the church youth to attend summer camp.
The supper will include stuffing, squash, pies, rolls and dessert. As usual, there will be items raffled off and door prizes.
Girl Scouts
HEBRON — Girl Scouts of Maine will host a parent information and registration meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, at Hebron Station School.

Bridge play
OXFORD — The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met Oct. 29 in the Recreation Building on King Street. A five-table Howell movement was played.
Finishing first in flight A were Linda Leosakos and Mary Trafton, also first in flight B; second in A, Lucille Theriault and David Lock; third, Luke Merry and Mike Quinn.
Second in B were Milton McKeen and Jim Krainin, also first in flight C and fourth in A; third in B, Priscilla Rooth and Hazel Glazier, also second in C. Third in C were Cindy and Robert Kirchherr.

Public supper
SOUTH PARIS — The Paris Fire Department Auxiliary will sponsor a public supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Paris Fire Station, Western Avenue. There will be ham, potatoes, vegetables, tossed salad, rolls, assorted homemade desserts and macaroni and cheese for the kids.
Cost for adults is $8; age 4 to 12, $4; age 3 and under, free.
