POLAND SPRING — Gloria L. (Proulx) Pellerin, 84, of Poland Spring died at home on Friday, Oct. 29.

She was born in Franklin, N.H., March 9, 1926. Gloria was educated in Franklin and moved to Manchester, N.H., shortly after.

She was married Oct. 18, 1947 to Wilfrid M. Pellerin of Manchester, who predeceasd her on Feb. 22, 1977. The family moved to Lewiston in 1961.

Gloria worked for many years in optical businesses and optical sales in Maine and New Hampshire and retired in her late 70s.

Gloria was a loving mother, nana and friend to many. She was very social and especially enjoyed going out for Sunday morning breakfast followed by playing cards and dominoes. She looked forward to spending each March in Florida.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda of Bridgewater, Mass., and Donna Bouchard and husband, John, of Saco; three grandchildren, Josh, Katie and Emily; nieces and nephews; good friends, Larry and Lu; and Charlie her PIA cat.
