LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday for Roland G. Fortin at Holy Cross Church following prayers at The Fortin Group Funeral Home. Monsignor Marc B. Caron officiated assisted by Deacon Denis Mailhot. Committal prayers followed at the entombment at St. Peter’s Cemetery Mausoleum. At the Mass, the reading was proclaimed by Lisa Anctil. The prayer of the faithful was offered by Michelle Kearney. Offertory gifts were presented to the altar by Scott Anctil and Danny Fortin. Words of thanks and rememberance were expressed by son-in-law, Lionel Anctil. Military honors were provided by the Maine Funeral Honors Program. Pallbearers were Scott Anctil, Danny Fortin, Robert A. Roy Jr., Richard Bilodeau, Joey Gamache and Louis Bilodeau.
