FARMINGTON — Lillian I. Watson, 92, a lifelong resident of Depot Street, Livermore Falls, went home to be with her Lord, late Monday, Nov. 1, at Sandy River Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 22, 1918, in Jay, the daughter of Cony and Mary (Robinson) Richards. She attended school in Jay. On July 21, 1934 in Jay, she married Everett S. Watson. He passed away in August 1972.
Lillian worked for Livermore Shoe for 25 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Jay Baptist Church. Lillian enjoyed cross stitch, needlepoint and crocheting. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved her.
She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Gloria and Leonard Smith of Pleasant Ridge and Noreen and Clayton Putnam of Livermore Falls; her son and his wife, Dwight and June Watson of Livermore Falls; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of Sandy River Health and Rehabilitation Center for the loving care they showed to Lillian.
