BUCKFIELD — John Lowell received 515 votes to be elected to a six-month term on the Board of Selectmen on Tuesday.

Martha Catevenis had 183 votes and Will Deane had 150.

Lowell succeeds Floyd Richardson, who resigned.

Also Tuesday, voters turned down a clean energy ordinance, 351-475.
