LEWISTON — Eileen Frances Verrill Marquis, 66, of Auburn passed away Nov. 3, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
She was born on May 11, 1944, the daughter of the late Magdalyn M. Anthoine Verrill and Charles W. Verrill.
She had attended Lewiston High School and earned her GED, and had belonged to the Lewiston Knights of Columbus Auxiliary in the early 1970s.
Eileen had worked at Bradley’s Department Store in Lewiston and several mills, and the Keno department at the Crystal Bay Casino in Cryatal Bay, Nev., when she lived in California.
She had attended a family and friends gathering at Old Orchard Beach on Oct. 9, to celebrate her nephew and godchild’s 50th birthday, Joe Lowell.
She is survived by one son, Andrew J. Marquis of Raymond, N.H.; one brother, James E. Verrill of Lewiston; one sister, Mary Ann Lowell of Kings Beach, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
