MECHANIC FALLS — Over the last several months a team of ghost hunters from Everything Paranormal of New England have spent several nights in the Mechanic Falls Historical Society Building (formerly the Congregational Church) and in the town’s public library.
On Saturday, Nov. 13 at 3 p.m., the paranormal group from Sanford will hold a reveal of their findings at the Mechanic Falls Historical Society, 64 Elm St.
Both structures were constructed in the 19th century. The church building was erected in 1848, while the library building was built sometime afterward and has been a law office, jail and private residence. It has been the town’s library since 1939.
Renee Alling, founder and lead investigator for the group, will disclose what the investigations discovered at the two sites. Alling will release audio, video and photographic data as well as recount several personal experiences of the group’s late night stays at the two buildings.
There is no charge for the reveal. The public is welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
