RUMFORD — The Red Hat Mommas of Western Maine met recently at Central Maine Community College in Auburn. A lunch was provided by the students in the college’s culinary arts program.

Birthdays for September and October were celebrated, and the teapot exchange was made. Teams for each month have been made up to select activities for 2011.

The next meeting will be on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Brian’s Bistro in Rumford. The deadline to sign up is Friday, Nov. 12.

There will be a trip to the “Feztival of Trees” at the Kora Temple in Lewiston on Saturday, Nov. 20. Admission is $2. Those attending will leave from the Dixfield Post Office at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be at Davinci’s. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, Nov. 18.
