AUBURN — The Woman’s Literary Union Winterberry Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at the clubhouse, 19 Elm St.
The fair will feature baked items, jewelry, knit and stitched craft items for holiday giving and decorating, white elephant items and a Potting Shed, which will have plants, berry bowls and winterberries.
Raffles will include a $75 gas card, Lia Sophia jewelry, tickets to the Public Theatre and the Franco American Heritage Center, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Longaberger, restaurant gift certificates, a small area rug and a fresh balsam wreath.
The Winterberry Cafe will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will offer homemade breakfast items, including cinnamon rolls, blueberry coffee cake, scones with lemon curd or fresh strawberry jam and beverages. A lunch will also being offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a leek soup and a variety of English tea sandwiches, chips, beverages and dessert.
The Woman’s Literary Union of Androscoggin County is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization and this event is one of the fundraisers that supports the organization in its mission.
