My wife and I voted in Auburn. The clerk asked only for our names and dates of birth — no check of identification or anything like that. I could have been anybody of approximate age and voted again and again.

I have no doubt that this does go on — people voting for people who can’t get out or just don’t vote. And it probably happens to all the political parties.

Identification checks need to be made at all voting places.
