NORWAY — The Progress Center, 35 Cottage St., will host a cheese-tasting event from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, in the conference room. The event will offer an in-depth presentation of cheeses made by Maine crafters.
The host, Laura Wright, will discuss cheese types, textures and cheese presentation. Participants will learn about the method and discipline of the processes in cheese-making, and Cafe Nomad’s owner Scott Berk will present information on the pairing of wines with cheese.
The variety of cheeses will vary from soft to aged, goat to cow.
