LEWISTON — Twenty Geiger associates earned their certified advertising specialist or master advertising specialist designation in October.

Each completed a two-hour exam administered by the Promotional Products Association International. The exam represents the culmination of dozens of hours spent by each associate attending specialized promotional products industry trainings and seminars.

Those who attained their CAS designation are Mona Alexander, Ray Bergeron, Tim Bouchard, Scott Bradbury, Shelley Brown, Cendy Eaton, Edna Guerrette, Donna Ponte, Hillary Schau, Carol Thomas, Andrea Labonte, Susan Conroy, Darlene Tardif, Aaron Tufts, Edna Peek and Nancy Ridley.

The MAS recipients were Dawn Laprell, Sara Grant, Ann St. Hilaire and Angela Newcomb.

CAS designees have demonstrated that they are well versed in all advertising and marketing media available in the promotional products industry. MAS designees display excellence in all aspects of the promotional products industry in addition to demonstrating leadership qualities and a commitment to the industry.

With the addition of these individuals, Geiger now has a total of 104 certified associates on record with Promotional Products Association International.

These recent certifications are a direct result of the company’s initiative to promote professional advancement through an education program called Geiger University. Geiger associates take on the role of students as they attend seminars and listen to presentations by industry-affiliated speakers. This program gives Geiger a professional edge in the industry as the company continues to invest in its employees.
