AUBURN — Yvette Asselin, 83, formerly of 183 Rosedale St., Lewiston, died peacefully Friday, Nov. 5, at Clover Manor surrounded by her family.

She was born in Lewiston on March 14, 1927, the daughter of Joseph and Celie (Morin) Demers. She attended schools in Lewiston and was a graduate of Lewiston High School.

She worked for many years at Bates Mill until her retirement.

Yvette love to play bingo, sewing, going to the beach and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Roger Asselin and wife, Marian, of Lewiston and Mike Asselin of Sabattus; her daughter, Diane Skurski and husband, Richard, of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Kim Asselin, Kevin Marcotte and wife, Elizabeth, and Brieanna Skurski; and by her four great-grandchildren.

The family appreciates dearly the staff and volunteers at Clover Manor and Androscoggin Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Yvette during these difficult times.
