PORT ROYAL, Ky. — Rick Ouellette, 50, of Port Royal, Ky., passed away on Oct. 27, with his loving family by his side, having fought a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Rick was born in Lewiston, son of Lorraine Ouellette and the late Robert Ouellette. He attended Lewiston schools, including St. Dominic Regional High School.
Rick was the proud owner and operator of Limited Editions Art and Frame Shop in Port Royal, Ky., and was an accomplished salesman. He was an avid fisherman and always enjoyed coming to visit his family and friends in Maine, and some of his favorite vacations were spent at camp on Allen Pond in Greene.
He loved reaching out to help children of all ages and enjoyed coaching Little League baseball, T-ball, soccer and basketball teams in Kentucky. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Carrollton, Ky.
He will always be remembered for his warm personality and his infectious sense of humor that always made those around him laugh.
Survivors include his wife, Donna (Berry) Ouellette, whom he married in 1988; his two sons, Derick and Dylan of Port Royal, Ky.; his mother, Lorraine Ouellette of Lewiston; his three sisters, Louise Devlin and husband, Brian, of Auburn, Claire Tardif and husband, Robert, of Lewiston and Ann Lopresti and her companion, Robert, of Mechanic Falls; his three brothers, Jerry and wife, Pat, of Windham, David and wife, Hollie, of Scarborough and Jim and wife, Carol, of Lyman; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Rick was predeceased by his father, Robert Paul Ouellette.
