FARMINGTON — Rebecca Ryder, president/CEO of Franklin Community Health Network and Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington, will be a featured panelist at the annual meeting of the Northern New England Association of Healthcare Executives. The meeting, which takes place in Meredith, N.H., on Nov. 12, brings together health care executives throughout the Northeast to hear from nationally recognized speakers and others who will address pressing issues that health care providers face.

Ryder will present as part of a panel discussion titled “Career Advancement Success Stories.” The panelists will share their health care leadership perspectives and career advancement experiences with attendees. Accompanying Ryder on the panel will be Kevin Donovan, CEO of Mount Ascutney Hospital in Windsor, Vt., and Tina Legere, CEO of Parkland Medical Center in Derry, N.H.

Ryder will discuss her health care career that began as a practicing nurse and led to advancements in hospital administrative roles spanning more than 25 years in several well-known health care systems across the country.

In January 2009, Ryder returned to her home state of Maine to assume responsibility as president and CEO of Franklin Community Health Network. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She received her master’s degree in community health nursing from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Maine.
