AUBURN — Mark Truss led Central Maine Coumminity College with 21 points, including 12-of-15 from the line, and a game-high nine rebounds as the Mustangs ran away with a 93-81 win over New Hampshire Technical Institute in a rematch of last year’s Yankee Small College Conference title game.
Curtis Miller, 19 points, caught fire in the first half, knocking down five 3-pointers and leading the Mustangs (2-1) to a 46-28 lead at the break. Arsenio Santamaria turned in a career-best 19-points, eight-rebound performance, and Nick Hinkley added 12 points and seven assists. The Mustangs were in control throughout the contest, shooting 40-percent from the floor and draining 24-of-28 free throws.
Terry Williams canned a game-high 31 points for the Lynx (2-2) and Besfort Syla added 17.

AUBURN — Kayla Ellis drained a game-high 16 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead Central Maine Community College in a 68-41 Yankee Small College Conference victory over New Hampshire Technical Institute on Thursday.
After falling behind 4-0 in the opening minutes, the Mustangs (2-1) went on a 28-2 run and never looked back. The Mustangs forced 33 turnovers led by Teira Durgin’s seven steals, while Ellis and Ariel McConkey each tallied four swipes.
Pernille Pederson added 13 points and Danielle Hebert scored 11 for the Mustangs while Alex Donald added nine and Danielle McCusker eight.
Jess Hardiman paced the Lynx with 15 points and Maureen Hurley added 13.
