The 7th Annual Kora Shriners Car Show & Fly-in will be held on July 9th & 10th at Twitchell’s Airport in Turner. This event has grown tremendously over the first 6 years and is rapidly becoming one of the larger Car Show & Fly-ins in the State. A change to a two-day event a couple of years ago have added to its popularity. Day one will feature a Car Cruise, which is then followed by BBQ. Day two starts with the Fly-in (weather permitting) and the Car Show participants start forming a line at 6 AM to be one of the first to register as over 250 cars have registered the last 6 years. This event also features a huge Food Tent, merchandise venders and a free Child Identification Program called MECHIP and sponsored by the Freemasons of Maine. If you have not attended this before, please make plans to attend this great family event!
