Raffle winners

LIVERMORE — The Livermore Public Library has announced the winners of its quilt raffle, drawn on Nov. 4.

The first name drawn was Vickie Sjostrom, who had her choice of the two quilts being raffled. The second name drawn, Angela Frey, won the remaining quilt. The quilts were made and donated by Wanda Young of Livermore.

Marcia Hamblin, also of Livermore, who made and donated the quilt for the library’s original raffle a few years ago, drew the winning tickets. 

Seniors dinner

RANGELEY — The annual senior citizen Thanksgiving dinner will be held at noon Sunday, Nov. 21, at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 2614 Main St.

There will be turkey with all the trimmings, fresh apple and pumpkin pies and door prizes. Takeouts will be available. For more information, call 864-5583.

Home-schoolers

WILTON — A Home-schoolers Connections meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Wilton Free Public Library.

The adult-only group offers an opportunity for home-schoolers to share resources and ideas and get support and inspiration.
