PORTLAND — Edward S. Trebilcock of Otisfield has passed away at the age of 70 after succumbing to a complicated series of illnesses. He was born on Feb. 15, 1940, the son of Edward L. and Winifred (Pottle) Trebilcock.

He is remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, as well as a devoted and beloved teacher in the Oxford Hills area, where he taught history for 33 years. He treasured his family and was committed to his community throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; four sons, Scott Trebilcock and wife, Lisa, of Raymond, Ted Trebilcock and, wife Mar-E, of Topsham, Toby Trebilcock and wife, Liz, of Mystic, Conn., and Ben Trebilcock and wife, Nicole, of South Paris. He is also is survived by two brothers, Steve Trebilcock and Denny Trebilcock; as well as his four cherished grandchildren, Katie and Grace Trebilcock and Gage and Trent Trebilcock.
