LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens will host its annual Christmas Party on Friday, Dec. 10, at the Ramada Inn. Those attending may select a meal of fish or chicken cordon bleu. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. with lunch served at noon.
Musical entertainment will feature The Trio, with Lorraine Ouelette, Gerry Dube and Adrian Leclair. Door prizes and pot of gold will be included. Reservations must be made by Friday, Dec. 3. The next membership meeting will be held at 1:15 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, in the Seniors Room at the Multi-Purpose Center. Officers will be elected for 2011. Entertainment will be provided by The Jubilees. Refreshments will be served.
A cooking class is planned for Wednesday, Dec. 8, presented by Denise Dill, community cooking educator at St. Mary’s Nutrition Center. Healthy and easy to prepare foods for the Christmas holiday will be featured.
Participants will be able to prepare the food sitting at a table and will be able to sample all the goodies prepared. Donation for Lewiston Senior Citizens members is $3. Nonmembers may participate for $5. Those interested should register by Wednesday, Dec. 1, to ensure enough supplies are available.
