MEXICO — A 53-year-old Mexico man was arrested Monday afternoon on two drug-related charges.
Louis Corriveau of Osgood Avenue was arrested at his home on charges of unlawful trafficking in marijuana and felony possession of hydrocodone pills following as investigation with a probation officer, Mexico police Sgt. Roy Hodsdon said.
Hodsdon said Corriveau had been on probation from drug-related charges in Androscoggin County.
Corriveau was taken to Oxford County Jail where he awaits an appearance before a judge, which must occur before bail can be set.
Hodsdon said the street value of the hydrocodone pills was about $500.
A Superior Court date of Feb. 18, 2011, was set.

Arrest
Eric Spaulding, 19, of Byron Street, Mexico, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence at 12:09 a.m., Nov. 15, on Main Street. He was released from the Rumford Police Department on an unknown amount of bail. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 18.
Missing person
An 82-year-old man with Alzheimer’s disease was found not far from his home on Highland Terrace following a search by police, Mexico Police Explorers and family and friends on Nov. 16. Hodsdon said the man was disoriented but in good physical condition. He had been missing for about two hours before he was located.
Theft
A Roxbury Road resident reported at 10:58 a.m., Nov. 17, that someone had entered his unlocked vehicle and had stolen a cell phone valued at $100.
