DAMARISCOTTA — Community Oxygen Service announces that Ron Vachon has joined the company as its respiratory therapist and salesman.

Vachon was previously employed at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center for more than 15 years in the respiratory department and has worked in the respiratory field for more than 20 years.

Vachon’s responsibilities in the Lewiston-Auburn and surrounding areas will be to provide and market home respiratory services such as oxygen systems, nebulizer breathing treatment and CPAP breathing systems for home and travel. His goal is to detail Community Oxygen Services to physicians, area medical centers and various health care agencies.

Community Oxygen Service is a Maine-owned, accredited provider of hi-tech home medical equipment and respiratory care services. Its home office is in Damariscotta and there are branches in Portland, Sanford and soon, Lewiston.
