JUPITER, FLA. — Herbert L. Hartshorn passed away Nov. 7, 2010 at the home of his only daughter, Joan Grant, in Jupiter, Fla.

He was born in Peabody, Mass. on Aug. 10, 1909. He lived in Mechanic Falls and graduated from high school in 1928. He was married to Alice Keen, and after her death, he married Virginia Rossiter of Camden. He was retired from G.E. in 1974.

He leaves his daughter, Joan Grant, and her husband, Percy Grant, having lived with them for the past eight years. He has two grandchildren, Mala Mcghee and Robert Britton; and six great-grandchildren.
