MINDEN, La. — Sharon A. (Ranger) Small died Nov. 2, in Louisiana.

She was born Aug. 10, 1943 in Farmington to Ephraim and Marvett (Alexander) Ranger. She went to school in Rumford, Class of 1962.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Haughton and a medical records clerk for Evergreen Ministries in Louisiana. She enjoyed traveling with her bowling team.

She is survived by her husband, Don E. Small, of Minden, La.; two sons, Steve Garrett of Minden, La. and Jeff Garrett and wife, Shannon, of Dubberly, La.; two daughters, Denise Shelton and husband, Curtis, and Laurie Black and husband, Danny, all of Bossier City, La.; sister, Sheryl Vaughn and husband, Rick, of Peru; two brothers, Phil Ranger and wife, Sue, of Minden, La., and Butch Ranger and wife, Jackie, of Hampton, Va.; six grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Albert Garrett, her parents and a sister, Deborah Holmquist.
