LEWISTON — Rudy and Irene Therrien of Lewiston recently celebrated there 50th wedding anniversary with family on Oct. 16. The former Irene Chouinard married Rodolphe T. Therrien Jr. on Oct. 12, 1960, in Lewiston.

The celebration was a surprise and included their four children, Debra and husband, David, Jacques and son, Matthew, Thomas and wife, Ann (Rand), Therrien and daughter, Jennifer, and husband, Christopher Gousse, sons, Michael and girlfriend, Victoria, and Shayne, James and wife, Janice (Fournier) Therrien and son, Jacob, William and wife, Nancy (Plourde) Therrien and son, Jason and fiancee, Sarah and daughter, Kayla and boyfriend, Dan. Grandsons Jim and Joshua Therrien were out of state and could not attend.

The couple was happy to have their family together to share a meal prepared by the family, a cake with a toast to all the good times and more to come. Also featured were pictures and music video of the last 50 years prepared especially for them.
