Grant received
RANGELEY — The Wilhelm Reich Infant Trust, a Maine nonprofit corporation that owns and operates The Wilhelm Reich Museum in Rangeley, has received a grant of $855.90 from Norcross Wildlife Foundation to enable it to buy an 8SE NexStar Computerized Telescope and create a program on astronomy for all ages as part of the museum’s Natural Science Program.
The programs will be open to schools, youth groups and the general public.
Books are Fun
FARMINGTON — The Franklin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will host a Books Are Fun sale in the Bass Room at the hospital. There will be books, gifts and music available.
The sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24. The sale is open to the public. For more information, call 778-4726.
Thanksgiving dinner
FARMINGTON — The Augusta Valley Scottish Rite Masons will sponsor a free Thanksgiving dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, in the Mt. Blue High School cafeteria.

Craft fair
MOUNT VERNON — The Christmas in the Village Art and Crafts Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, in the Mt. Vernon Community Center and Masonic Hall.
There will be baskets, jewelry, art prints, maple products and many handmade crafts.
