WILTON — A service of thanksgiving for the life of Phyllis Elaine Richardson Lake was held Saturday at the Wiles Remembrance Center with the Rev. Margaret E. Proctor officiating. Son-in-law, George Ramos sang “Amazing Grace.” Scripture readings included Psalm 23 in unison; Colossians 2:2-7, John 14:1-3, 18-19 and 25-28; Romans 8:28, 31-32, 27-39. Great-granddaughter, Olivia Trask played a saxophone solo, “You Raise Me Up.” Family members offered personal eulogies. Committal services were held at the center. Burial was at Lakeview Cemetery. Following services, all were invited to a fellowship reception at the First Congregational Church, Wilton, hosted by members of the Women’s Fellowship.
