LEWISTON — The YWCA of Central Maine will hold an American Red Cross baby-sitting plus course from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 pm. Sunday, Dec. 5 and 12.

The goal of the course is to prepare students the proper skills to care for infants, siblings, neighbors or any child safely. The YWCA baby sitter training plus course will teach a child professionalism; help develop skills in leadership, basic care, first aid skills, home indoor and outdoor safety; and certification in child and infant CPR.

Cost is $75 for members and $85 for nonmembers and is open for boys and girls ages 11 to 15. Space is limited. For more information or to register, call the YWCA of Central Maine at 795-4050.
