AUBURN — Jean P. (Jean-O) Cyr, 52, of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly of cancer on Nov. 22.

Born in Lewiston on Oct. 31, 1958, he was the son of Reina Beckwith and Maurice (Mike) Cyr. Jean married Lise Fontaine on May 1, 1982. Together they have two children, Erica and Cory.

He was educated in Lewiston schools and worked at Symmetry Medical, until March of this year when they closed. He was a great candlepin bowler. He enjoyed watching football and collecting football cards and memorabilia, but his greatest joy was his children.

He was the best husband, father and friend anyone could ever ask for.

He is survived by his wife, Lise; his daughter, Erica and her fiancee, Nick Scott; his son, Cory and his fiancee, Carissa Kephart; his siblings, Walter Cyr and family, Ray Cyr and family, Joline Bellemare and family, Mike Cyr and family, Bob Cyr and family and Ron Cyr and family; and brother-in-law, Patrick Lee and family.

He was predeceased by his mother, Reina; his father, Maurice; and his sister, Rolande Lee.
