SOUTH PARIS — The Jones Dance Band will perform at the South Paris Legion Hall from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3 and 10, and Saturday, Dec. 18.

They will also play from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 31. The cost for the dance is $12.50 a  person and the buffet is $7 a person. For New Year’s Eve reservations, call Betty Decoteau at 743-7965.

Chinese auction

OXFORD — A Chinese auction will be held on Saturday, Nov. 27, at the Advent Christian Church, Route 26. Doors will open at 10 a.m. and lunch will be available. There will be more than 100 items raffled as well as a $1 table and 50/50.

All funds will go to the Families in Crisis Task Force to help holiday programs in Oxford County. Those attending are asked to bring a gift for the kids’ Christmas program or pay $1 admission. For more information, call 357-7072.
