LEWISTON — Lucia D. Stahl, 92, of Center Minot Hill Road, Minot died Sunday, Nov. 28, at Russell Park Manor.

She was born in Germany, Aug. 23, 1918, the daughter of Helene Katarine Gessen and grew up and attended schools in Germany prior to moving to Maine in 1954.

In 1950, she married Ernest Stahl. He died in 1986.

Lucia worked for many years at Belgrade Shoe, where she retired in 1969.

She was a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church in Auburn, where she was actively involved.

She is survived by her beloved grandsons, David Kohler of Minot and Charles Kohler of Gardner, Mass.; her beloved great-grandson, Kyle Kohler of Minot; a niece in Germany; and also a granddaughter, Linda Kohler.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Rotraut Christian; her son, Gerhard Stahl; and several sisters and brothers.
