PARIS — A local man is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday on a charge that he sexually assaulted a woman at a home here last week, officials said Monday.
Jaime Rodriguez, 35, was arrested Thursday by officer Zane Loper of the Paris Police Department on a charge of gross sexual assault, police Lt. Michael Dailey said.
Rodriguez has been held at Oxford County Jail since then on $25,000 cash bail set by a commissioner.
A corrections officer at the jail said Rodriguez is scheduled to make his first court appearance Tuesday in Paris. The jailer said records indicate the attack took place Wednesday, Nov. 24.
