AUBURN — Auburn Adult Education and Community Education has announced December classes:

Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA): The program is designed to prepare the student to become a certified nurse’s assistant. Nursing assistant skills are taught and evaluated in the classroom and through clinical “hands-on” experience. Certification is given upon completion of the course, after evaluations in theory, clinical performance and passing the state examination. Call for dates and times.

Pet First Aid: Monday, Dec. 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. The course uses video-based instruction and hands-on activities to teach the basics of first aid and emergency care to cats and dogs. Includes a dog book with CD ROM and is offered by the American Red Cross.

Spirit World Exploration: Monday, Dec. 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. Explore and learn about an otherworldly paradise while attempting to receive messages and signals from loved ones in the Spirit World.

Social Networking 101: Wednesday, Dec. 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. for three weeks. Learn about Tweeting, My Space, Facebook and Blogging. Set up working accounts in all these areas.
