BOSQUE FARMS, N.M. — Charles E. Pinkham, 68, of Bosque Farms, N.M., lost his courageous battle with cancer on Nov. 24, with his wife, daughter and son-in-law by his side.

Charlie born on July 8, 1942, in Strong, to Charles and Nellie Pinkham. He attended schools in Strong and Gardiner. He moved to Alaska in 1969 to work on the pipeline. He traveled all over the country, the last 20 years in New Mexico, where he retired as teamster in 1991.

He is survived by Charlotte Pinkham of Maine; mother, Nellie Pinkham of Maine; brother, Phillip and wife, Marcy, of Maine; sister, Muriel Lisherness and husband, Paul, of Maine; sister, Evelyne Crosson and husband, John, of Maine; daughters, Lynne Pare of Texas, Cheryl King and husband, Rob, of Washington, and Carol Mae and boyfriend, Ken, of Brownsville, Texas; son, Charles (Rusty) Pinkham of Texas; four grandchildren, Sarah Heather Cohn of New Hampshire, Crissy Wolverton and husband, Drew, of Washington, T.J. Smith of Washington, and Loel Smith of Indiana; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Carson, Madelyn and Sarah’s two children.

Charles was predeceased by his father, Charles Phillip Pinkham; brother, Freddie; sister, Susie; grandchildren, Brian, Rebecca Mae and Samantha; and a great-granddaughter, Taylor Grace.
