AUBURN — Colette (Thibault) Dufresne, 95, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 30, with her daughter by her side.
She was born on Dec. 14, 1914, the daughter of Ovide W. Thibault and Yvonne Sirois. She was educated in local schools, graduating in 1933 from Lewiston High School.
She married former Chief Justice Armand A. Dufresne Jr. on Oct. 5, 1939, who passed away April 19, 1994. She was a communicant of the Basilica Saints Peter and Paul parish holding membership in Ladies of Ste. Anne Sodality.
She and her husband made their home on Sylvan Avenue in Lewiston, until 2000 when she moved to Montello Heights, where she enjoyed her retirement years.
She is survived by her three daughters, Louise Houde and husband, Paul, of Nashua, N.H., Pauline Charest and husband, Georges, of Pelham, N.H., and Carmen Dufresne and husband, Michael S. Dixon, of Auburn; seven grandchildren, Peter Houde and his fiancee, Betsey Abrahams, of Nashua, N.H., James Houde and his wife, Jeannine, of Merrimack, N.H., Irene Houde of Brookline, Mass., Adrian Charest and his wife, Abigail, of Sudbury, Mass., Andrea Charest and her partner, Michael MacDonald, of Park City, Utah, and Renee and Marie Dufresne-Dixon of Auburn; seven great-grandchildren, Rebekkah, Grace, Madelyn and Michael Houde, Jordan and Joshua Houde and Colette Charest; and a sister, Simone Caron of Corvallis, Ore.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Monique Thibault and Jacqueline Roy.
