Shelley Elliot and
Lexine Graham
NORWAY — Shelley Rae Elliot and Lexine Lee Graham became legally registered domestic partners in a commitment ceremony Aug. 21 at the First Universalist Church in Norway. The Rev. Richard Beal officiated at the ceremony.
Ms. Elliot is the daughter of Rhonda Elliot of Rumford Point. Ms. Graham is the daughter of Diane and Wayne Farnum of Roxbury.
Ms. Elliot was escorted by her children, Abby and Logan Elliot. Ms. Graham was escorted by her parents.
Shelley wore a white A-line halter style gown with red sash and train. She carried a bouquet of red roses, white baby’s breath tied with black ribbon.
Lexine wore a white tux and fedora hat with red vest and tie and a red rose boutonniere.
Abby Elliot, Shelley’s daughter, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Tabitha Mason, Sheri Mathieu, Ashley Brown and Rana Wood, all friends of the couple. Gena Elliot, Shelley’s daughter, was flower girl.
Michael Graham served as best man for his sister. Ushers were Carmen and Joe Diconzo and Rachel Henderson, all friends of the couple. Malachi Knox, Shelley’s son, was ring bearer.
A 1920s theme reception followed at the VFW Hall in Rumford. The couple spent the following week doing fun family things with their children. They are residing in Rumford.
Both attended Rumford schools.
Ms. Elliot works for a local rental agency readying rental properties for occupancy and she is also an independent, award-winning photographer.
Ms. Graham is a stay-at-home mom and a very accomplished artist.
