BRIDGTON — Tri-County Mental Health Services and the primary care practices of Bridgton Hospital invite healthcare providers and community members to a “Dinner and Discussion” at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28.

Members of the Domestic Violence Task Force will be the featured presenters and will discuss local efforts in prevention and education, as well as intervention and treatment services.

The mental health effects of violence will be discussed, and advance notice is given that some language will be graphic. Health care, law enforcement, mental health and emergency workers are especially encouraged to attend.

The dinner is part of a series provided as part of the three-year Integrated Primary Care Project funded by the Maine Health Access Foundation. The free dinners are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month at the Bridgton Congregational Church. Each month a different topic is discussed related to health, mental health, how they are intertwined is discussed.
