LEWISTON — The Maine high school bowling season opened Thursday, Dec. 2 with matches played around the state.
Lewiston High School defeated Cony, 10-9, in its opening match.
The Blue Devils earned team honors for high game (1,095) and high series (2,238). Tim Leeman rolled a 267 game for the highest statewide single score. Leeman added a 214 for the top series of 481.
Cam Marcotte (239), Cam Marcotte (226) and Brandon Dubuc (213) also were among the league leaders for Lewiston.
Doug Fournier of Western Maine Bowling (Jay-Livermore Falls-Mt. Blue) posted a high game of 202.
