RUMFORD — Geraldine Parlin, 87, of Canton, died early Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Rumford Hospital.

She was born Nov. 21, 1923, a daughter of Ansel Simmon and Winnifred (Bicknell) Ellis and received her education in Canton schools. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family and was a member of the Canton Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Leonard Parlin, Wendal Parlin, Vicki Parlin, Paula Young and her husband, Greg; grandchildren, Leonard, Greg Jr., and Robert; and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Connor and Kullen.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harland; brothers, Gordon and Albert; and a sister, Fay Lord.
