JAY — Jeannie Mae Finley, 66, a resident of Free Street, Jay, died suddenly early Monday, Dec. 6, at her home following a brief illness.

She was born June 5, 1944, in Farmington, the daughter of Nick and Arlene (Petrie) Luciano. Jeannie graduated from Livermore Falls High School in 1962, and continued her education at Husson College.

On May 1, 1965, she married Daniel Finley at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. Jeannie worked at Livermore Shoe, Livermore Falls Primary School, Giguere’s Store and Value Plus. She enjoyed wintering in Florida; going to Foxwoods with friends, cards, cooking, bargain shopping, Bingo and playing golf.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, “Danny” Finley of Jay; her daughters, Heidi Finley of Holiday, Fla., Wendy Melcher, her husband, Larry and their children, Lyndzey, Logan and Kyle of Livermore Falls, and Nicole Harrison, her husband, Joseph and their children Noah and Reese of Palm Harbor, Fla.; her sister, Cheryl Roy of Wilton; her twin brother, John “Diddy” Luciano and his wife, Norma, of Livermore; and her lifelong friends, Nancy Blodgett, Patty Punch and Maureen Hamblin.

She was predeceased by her parents; and two brothers, Jimmy and Ronnie Luciano.
