FARMINGTON — Anita Lambert Eusanio, 88, of Farmington, formerly of Youngstown, Ohio, passed peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Orchard Park Rehabilitation and Living Center. She had moved from Youngstown, Ohio, in 2006 to live closer to her daughter, Dr. Susan A. Anzivino.
Anita was born June 29, 1922, in Hubbard, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph P. and Jennie (Marino) Lambert. She graduated from Rayen High School and attended business school. For 35 years, she was a lingerie and women’s wear buyer for Strouss in Youngstown.
Her first husband and father of her only daughter was Joseph J. Anzivino. She later married Robert “Mickey” Eusanio. He predeceased her in 2004.
She was a former member of the Italian-American Veterans’ Women’s Auxiliary and the Sons of Italy. While in Ohio, she was a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo in Boardman and in Maine attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Farmington.
Anita’s passion was dancing. As a young dancer, she performed in Swan Lake. She had also danced with the USO for our troops during World War II. Anita was a former member of the Tony Romeo’s Juliettes. Her last public dance performance was a duet with her daughter in 2006.
A devoted mother, she will be missed by her daughter Susan Anzivino of Wilton; goddaughter, Janice Bricillo of Hubbard, Ohio; numerous cousins; and special friends.
