Returning letter winners: Seniors —McKenzie Paterson (5-3 guard), Breana Roberts (5-9 forward), Lindsay Gallant (5-3 guard); Juniors — Ayala Allen (5-10 forward), Chrissy Briggs (5-9 guard), Kaitlin Armstrong (5-7 guard), Makayla White (5-5 guard); Sophomores – Darbi Brown (5-7 guard), Abby Day (5-5 guard), Brooke Dolloff (5-10 forward).

Promising newcomers: Senior — Tia White (5-4 guard); Sophomore – McKenzie Gallant (5-7 guard/forward).

 Key losses: Emily Knapp (guard).

Outlook:

The Falcons return almost all of last year’s club including Allen, an all-conference player and fourth-leading scorer in the MVC with 15.2 ppg. Also back as starters are seniors Paterson, Roberts and Gallant. Mountain Valley should have a deeper bench this season with Briggs, Armstrong, White and Dolloff all back and ready for bigger roles. The Falcons could be one of the stronger teams in the MVC and should be in the Western B field.
