Coach: Gary Dolloff (10th year)

Last year’s record: 16-2, Western Class B champions, Class B runner-up

Returning letter winners: Senior — Ryan Burgess (112/119), Cody Magoon (125), Josh Thornton (145), Taylor Bradley (171), Christian Durland (189), Josh Allen (215); Juniors — Joe Provencher (135), Taylor Carey (160), Ryan Glover (275); Sophomores —Santos Rodriguez (152), Jon Petrie (215).

Key losses: Tim Ross (130), Matt Duka (160).

Promising newcomers: Junior — Rashaud Lavoie (215); Sophomores — Nicole Burgess (103/112), Justin Roy (152/160); Freshmen — Jake Thornton (112), Anthony Boucher (140), Zach Cross (152), Austin Varnum (171).

Outlook: Dolloff is stepping down at the end of this season, and this may be one of his best teams, health permitting. They may get off to a slow start as several football players recover from nagging injuries. The Falcons return two state champions (Ryan Burgess and Josh Thornton) and three state runners-up. Magoon has been plagued by injuries, but should see the podium if he stays healthy. Bradley was a Mid-State League champ as a sophomore before spending last year at Skowhegan. He is recovering from a shoulder injury and probably won’t wrestle until toward the end of the season.

Coach’s comment: “If we stay healthy, I think we should be up there at least in the top three in the state.” — Coach Gary Dolloff
