Promising newcomers: Juniors — Alexis Noel (5-8 forward), Amanda MacDonald (5-5 guard), Jane Marston (5-5 guard); Sophomores – Brianna Hodgkins (5-10 forward), Desiree Johns (5-4 guard), Julie Morneault (5-5 guard).

Key losses: Courtney Safford (5-1 guard), Lynnae Chaput (guard).

Outlook:

 Sabine was an all-conference post player last year, averaging 18 points and 12 rebounds. The Raiders also return eight others that saw action last year including starters Goulet, Beaulieu. Roberts and Lehotay. There’s enough talent and experience to keep the Raiders competitive and chasing a playoff berth that has barely eluded them the last two seasons.

 “We should have a competitive group with all returning starters but most of the top teams in the league from last year return a lot as well. Our starters for this year are not set with great competition going on nightly for a few spots.” Coach Tom Morong.
