LIVERMORE FALLS — Regional School Unit 36 directors voted to extend Superintendent Sue Pratt’s contract one year until June 30, 2012, after an executive session on Thursday, board Chairman Ashley O’Brien said Friday.

The vote was 9-0-1 in favor, with Director Gina St. Pierre abstaining, the chairman said.

Pratt of Strong is in her first year at the helm of RSU 36 that is made up of the towns of Livermore and Livermore Falls.

Voters in the district as well as those in Jay will decide on Tuesday, Jan. 25, if they want to form a consolidated school system.

Jay Superintendent Robert Wall’s contract also expires on June 30, 2012.
