LEWISTON — Lilianne Bourque, 79, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully on Dec. 9, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in St. Camille, P.Q., Canada, on Oct. 23, 1931, the daughter of Elda Boutin and Joseph Audet.

 She attended St. Mary’s and St. Dom’s high school and earned her G.E.D. from Lewiston High School in 1974.

Lilianne had been employed by Bates Mill Hill Division as a spinner, until the mill closed. She then went to work at Pionite in Auburn until her retirement in 1994.

Her hobbies included music, gardening, puzzles, and cooking for loved ones. She had a great time cruising garage sales!

She is survived by two daughters, Louise Ouellette Quirion and her husband, Norm and Michelle Bourque and her fiancé, Marcel Gosselin, and his daughter Monique; one brother, Raymond Audet, all of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Angel and her husband, Chris, Andrea and her husband, Deron, Joe and his wife Kristi, and Christian Ouellette; five great-grandchildren, John, Robert, and Thomas Defeo and Curtis and Camden Plourde; and her former husband, Emile M. Bourque of Connecticut.

She will be sadly missed by all who have known her.

She was predeceased by her parents; siblings, Bernadette, Philip, Marie, Roland, Joseph, Noella, Florence, and Claude; a son-in-law, Gary Ouellette; and her longtime companion Marty Poulin.
