FARMINGTON — Frankie arrived at the Franklin County Animal Shelter as a stray. He is about one and a half years old and loves to play.
Staff said he does well with other cats and does like to play with dogs. He would do best in a high energy household. He loves kids and tolerates lots of attention.
Staff said he streaks around the shelter trying to pounce on unsuspecting people and furry friends. Anyone looking for the entertainment of a lifetime should visit Frankie.
New dogs at the shelter include a black lab from Industry.
The shelter has Giving Trees in Tranten’s, Agway, Aubuchon and Depot Laundry. The “Operation Help-a-Pet” trees have ornaments with a homeless pet’s photo and a request for Christmas. Take a tag off the tree, purchase the item in the store and leave the item under the tree or drop it off at the shelter at 550 Industry Road. For more information, call the shelter at 778-2638.
