FARMINGTON — Eunice O. Bowen Robinson, 92, a resident of North Road, Fayette, died Sunday, Dec. 12, on her 92nd birthday at Franklin Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 12, 1918, in Fayette, the daughter of Emery O. and Rose M. (Haskell) Lane. She attended school in Fayette, Kents Hill and was a 1936 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. Eunice married Al Laplante, they later divorced. She married Edward Bowen in 1950, he passed away in 1983, and then she married Harry Robinson in 1985, and he passed away in 1993.
Eunice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and devoted her life caring for her family. She also volunteered her time to her community serving on the Five Town Bicentennial Committee, was treasurer for the North Fayette Community Church, served as a SAD 36 school board member representing the town of Fayette and was a member of the Fayette Historical Society. Eunice also filled in as a clerk for the town of Fayette, until a new clerk was appointed.
She loved making crafts and wreaths for different community fundraisers. She recently made two large wreaths to give to the churches for Christmas.
She is survived by her sons, Hayden Lane of Chester, N.H., and his daughters, Faith and Michele, Roger Clayton Laplante of Nashua, N.H., and Wesley Bowen and his wife, Jennifer, of Fayette and their children, Scott, Brandy and Savanna; two daughters, Pamela Sevigny and her husband, Leo, of Springfield, N.H., and Patricia Bowen of East Winthrop and her daughter, Amanda; stepsons, Harry, Richard, Thomas, Patrick and John Robinson; stepdaughters, June Hebert, Joey Toothaker, Rae Marston, Michelle Whitney, Mary Greenman, Sandra Wilson and Pamela Nolan; her brother, Roger Lane of Fayette; many grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Wesley and Ronald Lane; and six sisters, Jennie Smith, Gladys Quimby, Stella Baker, Persis Manchester, Marion Allen and Muriel Morse.
